The Northeast Ohio Association for Computing Machinery is presenting their Artificial Intelligence and Work/Education Forum entitled: How Will AI Impact The Future of Work and Education in Northeast Ohio The forum will discuss how AI will reshape the workplace of the future as well as the purpose, process, and structure of educational institutions in Northeast Ohio. The forum will include speakers and a four member panel. Our main speakers will be: * Dr. David Staley, Futurist, and associate professor in the Department of History at Ohio State University, * Dr. Sundar Vedantham, Director of Software Development working in the Datacenter Group (DCG) of Intel Corporation. Our panelists will include Milind Paranjape, Director at JobsOhio for the information technology and logistics, and distribution industries and Cheryl Rice, Ph.D,Associate Vice Chancellor of the Higher Education Workforce Alignment at Ohio Department. This event is sponsored by the Youngstown State University's Dr. James Dale Ethics Center and the Department of Computer Science and Information, The Kent State University's School of Digital Sciences, Streamlinx, Oak Hill Collaborative and Tim Horton's of Youngstown. This is event is free and open to the public. Parking is free and free lunches will be available. Northeast Ohio ACM is a non-profit 501(c)(3) association dedicated to the strengthening of AI literacy in the Northeast Ohio community.
