Kick off Black History Month celebrations with an artist lecture and reception from Davon Brantley!
Join the Africana Studies program in celebration at the "Wrinkles in the Smile of Divinity" artist lecture and reception featuring Davon Brantley Feb. 3, starting at 5:30 PM at the McDonough Museum of Art. Brantley's exhibition will remain in the Judith Rae Solomon Gallery through the duration of the month. "This exhibition explores three aspects throughout our lives that help to define us as individuals informing our life trajectory, philosophy, and relationships amongst others," wrote Brantley
The first America250 event will be taking place at the Noble Creature Friday, January 9th featuring Curt Radabaugh as George Washington.
The American Revolution was born in America's taverns. Learn about the life in the Continental Army and purchase a beer inspired by Washington's own recipe.

We offer two programs in Sports Communication, one focuses on sports public relations, the other focuses on sports broadcasting.
Production Facilities Tour: After the session, we’ll take you on a brief tour of our production facilities. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the spaces where broadcasts, interviews, and sports productions come to life!
YSU Penguins vs. Bryant & Stratton Bobcats: Then, we’re off for the day’s main event! Join us at the Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center to watch the Youngstown State Penguins compete against the Bobcats. Registered students will receive exclusive access to behind-the-scenes areas, offering a chance to connect with our current students and gain an insider’s view of game day.
Admissions Presentation & Campus Tour: Wrap up game day with an informative admissions presentation covering the application process, financial aid and scholarships, student life and more, followed by an optional tour of campus and a residence hall.
