Application Instructions

Applying for AYA/FL, ECE/ECIS, MCE, SPED, HEPE Pre-clinical:

Applications are due one year in advance of the intended pre-clinical semester.

  • February 1 for the spring pre-clinical
  • September 1 for the fall pre-clinical

Applications of those closest to degree completion will be screened first. Only those who have met requirements for Content GPA, Professional GPA, Overall GPA and course prerequisites will be admitted. GPA’s and prerequisite courses will be rechecked for all admitted applicants prior to the start of the preclinical semester to ensure they still meet minimum requirements.

The pre-clinical application is now on TaskStream. In order to complete the application, candidates will enroll into the respective semester he/she plans to take the pre-clinical experience. Once enrolled, candidates will complete the application for their respective program area. There are three parts to the application that need completed.

  • Incomplete applications will be returned which may cause delays in processing your application and receiving a placement.
  • Late applications will be processed at the end of the semester.

Once the application has been submitted, it will be processed prior to the week of registration for the respective semester. The Score Report area, on TaskStream, will contain a letter regarding eligibility status. Candidates, who are denied prior to the start of the pre-clinical semester, will be required to submit an application for the new respective semester.

In order to apply:

  • Login to TaskStream,
  • Click on the “Enter Code” button on the bottom left hand corner of your Home Screen.
  • Go to the “Enter Program Code” and input the enrollment code

  • Once you input the enrollment code click on “Search”. The title “Pre-Clinical Application” will be returned in the search results.
  • Click on “Enroll”.
  • Click on “Start Working On Your New Program”
  • Complete the application for your respective program area
  • Upload your picture
  • Upload your Advisor Evaluation Request Summary
  • Click on the blue “Submit Work” button
  • Click on “Yes-Submit My Work”
