The John J. McDonough Museum of Art is excited to announce the opening of the highly anticipated 89th Annual Juried Student Art & Design Exhibition sponsored by the Cliffe College, the Department of Art, the McDonough and the Student Art Association. An opening and awards ceremony for the exhibition will be held on Friday, March 20 from 5-7pm with awards announced at 5:45pm. The works will be on display through April 3.

Chi Alpha's English Conversation Club fosters a welcoming community where students enhance their language fluency, navigate American culture, and build lasting friendships through authentic peer interaction.

The Omicron Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Pro-Show is a high-energy, culturally rich performance that blends tradition, storytelling, and entertainment into one unforgettable experience. This showcase highlights the creativity, unity, and pride of the chapter while giving the audience a glimpse into the legacy and brotherhood that define Alpha Phi Alpha. The show typically features a dynamic mix of step routines, strolling, and choreographed performances, all executed with precision, rhythm, and intensity. Each segment is carefully crafted to reflect themes such as brotherhood, perseverance, Black excellence, and community impact. The performers use synchronized movement, chants, and musical transitions to create an engaging atmosphere that keeps the crowd energized from start to finish. Beyond the performance aspect, the Pro-Show serves as a celebration of culture and history. It pays homage to the fraternity’s founding principles—manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind—while also incorporating modern influences that resonate with today’s audience. Through creative storytelling, the chapter may incorporate skits, voiceovers, or thematic sequences that connect past traditions with present-day experiences. Visually, the Pro-Show is striking. Members are often dressed in coordinated attire that reflects the fraternity’s iconic black and old gold colors, enhancing the overall aesthetic and unity on stage. Lighting, music selection, and transitions are used strategically to build momentum and create memorable moments throughout the performance. More than just a show, the Omicron Epsilon Pro-Show is a statement of identity and excellence. It represents the dedication, discipline, and brotherhood of its members while fostering a sense of pride within the campus and community. Whether you’re familiar with Greek life or experiencing it for the first time, the performance leaves a lasting impression—powerful, entertaining, and deeply rooted in tradition.

Life Group is a space for students to build community and connections with others at YSU. The desire is for college students to bring their questions about faith, Christianity, etc to this space where discussion is facilitated in a safe and inclusive environment.
