Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Choose Ohio First Scholarship at Youngstown State University, applicants must:

• Be an Ohio resident
• Be an incoming freshman
• Have declared an eligible major (see below)
• Demonstrate readiness for pre-calculus or calculus based upon chosen major (see below)
• Have applied and been accepted to YSU
