Intramural Sports

Looking for a casual sports experience to share with your friends? Then try intramural sports! YSU Intramural Sports are a very popular, non-varsity sports opportunity with leagues and one-day tournaments. Whether you have sports experience or not, intramurals are great way to get active and meet new people!

To be eligible for intramural programs or events, participants must be current registered YSU student, faculty, staff, or Rec Center members. 

***Non-Student members cannot make up more than 25% of the roster per sport.

Intramural Policies:

• Early Registration: $7.00 per sport

• Registration within 2 Weeks of the Start of the Season: $10.00 per sport

• Semester Pass (Includes All Sports): $20.00

• Refund Policy: Refunds will only be offered in the event of a canceled league or tournament. Refunds will be made available as a credit to the user's IMLeagues account, and may be used to sign up for future leagues or tournaments. Refunds are not available for the Semester Pass.

• 7v7 Soccer (Every Wednesday starting 9/24/25)

  • Location: WATTS Training Center

  • Time: 6:00PM

• Golf FORE Free (10/14/25)

  • Cost: FREE!!!

  • Location: Henry Stambaugh Golf Course

  • Time: 3:00PM - 7:00PM

• Climbing Competition (11/3/25 - 11/6/25)

  • Drop in during Climbing Wall hours.

    • Mon. - Thurs. (2PM - 10PM)

  • Location: Campus Rec Lobby - Chill Zone

  • Time: Starts at 6:00PM

• EA College Football '26 Tournament (Monday, October 27, 2025)

  • Location: Campus Rec Lobby - Chill Zone

  • Time: Starts at 6:00PM

• Cornhole Tournament (Tuesday, October 28, 2025)

  • Location: Penguin City Brewing Company

  • Time: 6:00PM - 10:00PM

  • Note: This cornhole tournament is a part of the "Penguin City Takeover: YSU Edition!" event. Join Campus Rec for a night full of fun, games, and friends.

    • YSU ID's will be required for entry. 

    • Attendees must be 21yrs or older with a valid ID to purchase alcohol.

• Dave & Buster's Trip (Tuesday, November 4, 2025)

  • Join Campus Rec for a fun night of arcade games, epic prizes, and unbeatable vibes at Dave & Buster’s—and unleash your inner kid!

  • All attendees will depart from Campus Rec together.
