Affiliate Memberships:

The following groups have been identified to purchase an affiliate membership based on their engagement with students, faculty and staff at Youngstown State University. The continuous interaction between these groups and students, faculty and staff contribute to the overall retention and growth of YSU students as well as support the mission of the Division of Student Experience. Current employees/advisors of these groups are eligible to purchase memberships to Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center at a $240 per year rate:

  • Chartwells Campus Dining Services
  • Youngstown Early College Instructors
  • Campus Ministry Advisor
  • Wee Care Day Care Staff
  • Courtyard Staff
  • Mercy Health Wick Primary Care Staff
  • Buechner Hall Staff
  • Buechner Hall Non YSU Students
  • University Courtyards
  • YSU Bookstore
  • YSU Janitoral Staff
  • Peak Management; Enclave; NYO Property Group or Off-Campus Housing Partners

Verification of employment or affiliation to the above groups is required prior to membership sale.

WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH THE MEMBERSHIP:

Sponsoring up to two guests daily (fee)
Personal Training (fee)
Facility access for family and friends during Family Day (twice a year)
Lockers, equipment check out and towel service
Discounted rates on equipment rental and programs
Nutrition Counseling (fee)

Intramural participation
Services: Payroll Deduction
Expanded family memberships

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR ALL MEMBERS REGARDING USAGE OF THE REC CENTER:

You MUST present your YSU ID in order to gain access to Andrews.
Proper athletic attire must be worn while using the facility.
If it is your first-time using the facility, please feel free to request a tour and/or a new-user orientation offered by trained campus recreation student employees.
Our lockers are for daily use only and locks are available at equipment issue. Lockers can also be rented per semester or annually.
Don’t forget to check out the Group X programs that are available throughout the week at no additional charge. The Andrew Student Recreation and Wellness Center also offers personal training by certified trainers (fees apply).

All members must adhere to the department of Campus Recreation policies and procedures.
