Working toward your dream career doesn’t have to break the bank! YSU already offers affordable tuition rates and over HALF A MILLION dollars in additional scholarships are awarded to STEM students annually.
The Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program is available to incoming Ohio residents in eligible STEM majors. Up to $4000 a year along with monthly programming focused on career and professional development.

The connections you make in college will be just as important to your future as the classes you take. Luckily, the STEM College offers a variety of honorary, special-interest, competition and major-specific student organizations to help you meet other students with similar interests.
Opportunities for student participation in clubs and organizations on campus are limitless. Current campus organizations include a broad variety of national, regional and local organizations, associations and institutions. Student organizations are open to all students currently enrolled at Youngstown State University and who have an interest to participate.

...and there is no shortage of help available to you along your journey! STEM College Advising and Careers Offices ensure you’re taking the proper courses and preparing yourself professionally. Academic support services also provide free tutoring and course support.
