Youngstown State University’s Office of Research Services provides support to ensure faculty, staff, and students are compliant with their research. Below are some of the most common areas where support is needed.

Human Subjects
All research projects conducted under the auspices of Youngstown State University that involve the use of living human subjects, samples, or
data obtained from them, directly or indirectly, with or without consent, must receive approval from the Institutional Review Board. More information can be found on the Penguin Portal or the IRB website.
