Youngstown State University is happy to offer transient (sometimes referred to as “guest”) students the opportunity to take undergraduate classes. In order to attend as a transient student, please follow the instructions below.
Transient applicants must submit:
- Completed Undergraduate Admission Application
- Click the "Create Account" link underneath Log In to begin.
- Complete the form and create your account.
- Once your account is created, on your dashboard click “Create a new application”
- Follow the prompts to complete your application (note: for the question “Will you take classes 100% online or on campus” you MUST select that you will take the classes on campus. This will not prevent you from scheduling online courses if available. It simply means that you do not plan to complete an online degree completion program).
- Non-refundable $45 application fee
- Official letter from the Registrar's Office at current college/university stating applicant is in good academic standing, or a copy of transcripts from current college/university
