NASM Accreditation
Youngstown State University and the degrees and programs of the Dana School of Music are accredited through the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) by meeting the rigorous standards set by the organization. NASM is the premier accrediting body for music colleges and schools and governs the establishment of curricular standards and guidelines.
NASM has more than 600 member institutions, including conservatories, public and private colleges, universities, and music schools.
