Pay Bill

Students may pay their YSU bill online through the Penguin Portal.  The payment options are credit card, debit card, and electronic check.  If a student is paying with a credit or debit card, there is a convenience fee for each transaction (2.95% fee for domestic card transactions & 4.25% fee for international card transactions).  Students needing to pay by international wire may use Flywire or Tranfermate

1. Log into the Penguin Portal. Click on "Student Dashboard".

2Click on "Bill, Payment and Tax Information".

Under Billing, choose "Bill Payment and Tax Information"

3Select "Make Payment" on the right-side of the screen.

4. Next, you will add the payment amount.  If you wish to change the amount of the payment, you may type in your payment amount here.  Then select "Add".

5. Choose your payment method from the drop-down menu and click "Continue".

Option 1 - "Electronic Check (checking/savings)," fill out all the account information on the right and click "Continue." There is an option to save the account for future refunds, if applicable, and an option to save the account for future payments.

Option 2 - "Credit Card via PayPath," click "Continue" to PayPath.

Option 3 - "TransferMate" wire transfer

6. Review the payment information, click "Continue" again

7. Review the information, click "Continue" again, and then enter the Payment Card Information and Billing Address.  There is a non-refundable PayPath charge of 2.95% for domestic card transactions & 4.25% for international card transactions (minimum $3.00).
