WCBA students "Meet the Employers" Feb. 13

Business students from the Williamson College of Business Administration will network with nearly 65 employers at Meet the Employers Day Feb. 13.

Nearly 65 employers from throughout the region will be on hand at the Youngstown State University Williamson College of Business Administration’s Meet the Employers Day 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the atrium of Williamson Hall on the YSU campus.

YSU business students will network one-on-one with employers, while employers will have the opportunity to identify talent for internships and full-time positions.

“Meet the Employers Day is an excellent way for students to network with business professionals and learn about the different companies and opportunities locally, regionally and nationally,” said Christina O’Connell, director of the WCBA Center for Career Management.

The WCBA Center for Career Management works with undergraduate and graduate students to develop resumes, fine tune interview skills, develop an internship/job search strategy, and assist students in growing professionally. The office also works with WCBA alumni in developing a job search strategy and with employers to develop internships and post these internship and full-time opportunities in the career management database, Handshake. Employers interested in recruiting with WCBA students should call 330-941-3660.

WCBA offers the Master of Accountancy, MBA and the BSBA degrees with majors in accounting, advertising/public relations, business economics, finance, general business, human resource management, international business, management information systems, and marketing. The undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
