I am a dedicated educator and scholar, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the academic community. I have a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity in students.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Social Work, Summa Cum Laude. My enthusiasm for social work was evident from the outset, and I quickly distinguished myself as a diligent and insightful student. Following my undergraduate studies, I pursued further academic endeavors, earning a Master's degree in Social Work from Youngstown State University as well.
Beyond the classroom, I am involved in various academic initiatives and community outreach efforts. I serve on the Bachelor of Social Work committees at Youngstown State University. I have also attended many conferences for not only higher education but the field of social work. I participate in community outreach programs aimed at promoting education and research. I also volunteer my time with not only local community benefits but charity work at local religious affiliates.
In recognition of my contributions to the academic community, I received the part time teaching excellence award at Youngstown State University. My dedication to excellence in teaching and research continues to inspire students and colleagues alike. I excited to continue my journey as a college lecturer, inspiring the next generation of scholars and making meaningful contributions to the field.
Teaching Interests
I deeply committed to teaching and mentoring students in the field of social work. I have taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate level, including the introduction to social work, American social welfare, health issues in social work, human behavior in the social environment and mental health. Students have found my teaching style to be engaging and have said that I have the ability to make complex concepts accessible.
