YSU Penguin PulseCampus and community members are invited to the YSU Community Engagement Symposium on Tuesday, April 15 from 11:30 am to 4:30 p.m. in Kilcawley Center. YSU students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners will share their stories of engaging with the community through oral and poster presentations.

Cryshanna Jackson Leftwich, professor of Public Affairs and Politics at Youngstown State University, has recently been inducted into the League of Women Voters Hall of Fame, a recognition that honors her work and dedication to service in the Youngstown community. Marjorie Hartman Family Foundation Pet Clinic returns to YSU

YSU Pre-Vet SocietyYoungstown State University’s Pre-Veterinary Society is hosting The Marjorie Hartman Family Foundation Pet Clinic on campus, offering free and low-cost vaccines, exams and other treatments performed by licensed veterinarians.

The clinic will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, April 6, at the Stambaugh Stadium Gymnasium or until vaccines run out.

For decades Youngstown State University has welcomed international students onto its campus. In 2016, the University officially created the International Programs Office, which continues to serve as a hub of support for international students that welcomes and transitions them into their YSU journey.
