What do you do in the data mine?
- Both fall and spring semesters, take a 1 credit hour asynchronous data science computing seminar (DATX 5895).
- This seminar, offered by Purdue University, involves giving you practice working with huge data sets on a research computing cluster.
- Join a Corporate Partners cohort, for 3 additional credits of data science-related research or class (DATX 5896).
- The corporate cohorts will work directly with the corporate sponsors to help evaluate real-data to solve for real-world business needs. DATX 5895 and 5896 can be taken concurrently.
