United Way's Success After 6 focuses on the whole child and the whole family. It provides wrap-around services to children in Youngstown. Success After 6 Coordinator Brenda Scott gives you some insight into the program.

The YSU Community is making an IMPACT through United Way:

1. Success After 6 is showing significant results with at-risk students closing the achievement gap. United Way could not do this without YSU's support!
   • YSU Honors Students serve as tutors
   • YSU Students and Athletes volunteer in the after -school program
   • YSU hosted basketball and tennis instruction for students in the Summer Learning Program
2. YSU Education Students serve as Reading Buddy volunteers for Imagination Library
3. YSU Greek Life raises money, collects canned goods, and donates clothing to the United way and its funded agencies each holiday season.
4. YSU Faculty and Staff serve on the boards of United Way and its funded agencies.
5. YSU hosts the larges VITA site for income tax assistance.
