Our Exercise Science facilities offer you an opportunity to learn and train in a setting designed to give the best experience. Between the Beeghly Physical Education Center and Arnold D. Stambaugh Stadium, you'll have access to classrooms, labs and gyms.
Beeghly Physical Education Center
The Exercise Science program is housed within the Beeghly Physical Education Center. As a student, you'll be able to utilize:
- Classrooms
- Gymnasium (seats 7,500)
- 50-meter swimming pool
- Fitness center
- Rifle range
There is also a lab available for use, containing:
- AEI Metabolic analysis unit
- Mortara Stress electrocardiogram system
- Research-quality treadmill
- Rortable metabolic unit
- Lode electronically-braked cycle ergometer
- BIOPAC data acquisition system
- Electromyography equipment
- Five Monark cycle ergometers
- Spirometer
- Hydrostatic weight apparatus
- Bioelectrical impedance analysis system
- Skinfold calipers
The Physical Education center has all there is to offer an exercise science student to allow for the best instruction and learning possible.
Stambaugh Stadium
Next to Beeghly is the All-Sports Complex in Stambaugh Stadium. In addition to the 16,000-seat stadium, indoor classrooms, racquetball courts, a weight room, gymnasia and sports medicine facilities are also included.
