“We are so pleased to be able to offer quality theatre and musical performances for the community especially during these difficult times,” said Stephanie Smith, acting co-director of YSU’s School of Performing Arts.
“The dedication and hard work of our students, faculty and staff is what makes all of this possible as we shift from live, in-person performances to the virtual, on-demand format. We have assembled great casts and amazing technical crews to bring this all to life.”
The performances, which run from September through early December, will be presented in virtual formats. The schedule:
Tickets for both shows are available here starting Sept. 1. Prices are: $10 for a single viewer; $25 for group viewing/watch party; and free for YSU students and employees.
Both the Winter Wonderland and Ten-Minute Play performances are free.
The 2020-2021 season marks the 57th consecutive year of University Theatre’s existence as a theatre producing agency on the YSU campus. Smith reminds patrons that contributing to the Theatre & Dance Giving Program helps to support the faculty, staff, and students as they continue to produce innovative, creative, and evocative theatre for the entire community.
