Cushwa Hall
Opened in 1976, this structure houses the Bitonte College of Health and Human Services, as well as Media and Academic Computing, Janitorial Services, and the Peace Officer Training Academy. One of the largest buildings on campus, it contains 23 classrooms, 43 laboratories, 177 offices, and two lecture halls. In summer of 2013, the building underwent a $2.2 million renovation.
The computer lab is located in room number 3161 of Cushwa Hall and is restricted to Bitonte College of Health and Human Service Majors only or those who are currently registered in BCHHS classes having an associated lab.The lab is equipped with 37 Dell Optiplex 7040 computers, 2 laser printers, 1 color scanner.

The Centofanti Center
The James and Coralie Centofanti Center for Health and Welfare for Vulnerable Populations is committed to providing support for educational initiatives, student scholarships, research, and workforce development that promote the well-being of individuals affected by debilitating illness, poverty, disability, and discrimination. Particular emphasis is placed on the health, social, and emotional needs of at-risk populations. Activities of the Center address regional needs through focused community engagement.
The Melnik Medical Museum
In support of Youngstown State University’s mission to enrich the cultural environment, create diverse educational experiences, and engage the surrounding community, the Melnick Medical Museum is dedicated to the collection and preservation of objects that document the history of medicine (including dentistry, nursing, and pharmacy), especially as it relates to Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley from the 18th century to the present.
Through its exhibits, educational programs, and public events, the Museum provides a greater understanding and appreciation of medicine to the academic community, students, practitioners of medicine, and the general public.
