YSU Counselor Day Program

Join us for Youngstown State University’s 59th Annual Counselor Day set for Friday, December 5, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. This year’s event will feature the Beeghly College of Liberal Arts, Social Science and Education (BCLASSE) and will take place in Beeghly Hall. 

BCLASSE, which is home to a wide range of programs in the humanities, social sciences, and teacher education, prepares students to become thoughtful leaders and professionals in their chosen fields. With diverse academic pathways, students can pursue careers in education, criminal justice, political science, communication, social work, and more. BCLASSE emphasizes experiential learning opportunities such as internships, research projects, and community engagement, while also offering individualized advising, tutoring, and support services. Unique opportunities include service-learning initiatives, and strong partnerships with schools and organizations across the region, ensuring students graduate prepared for both professional and personal success.
