The Youngstown Accounting and Auditing Update for accounting professionals, offered by the Lariccia School of Accounting and Finance in the Williamson College of Business Administration and co-sponsored by the Ohio Society of CPAs, is Friday, Sept. 18, in Williamson Hall at Youngstown State University.
The seminar provides accountants and auditing professionals with current information on accounting and auditing concepts, trends and rulings affecting the private and public sectors.
Jennifer H. Elder, seminar leader, is the president of the Sustainable CFO, a consulting business that caters to start-ups and growing organizations. She has more than 20 years of experience working with businesses to identify and focus on their core values, thereby growing as a more profitable company. She has conducted seminars in 40 states for various organizations from Fortune 500 companies to the federal government. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified in Financial Forensics and a Certified Global Management Accountant. In addition to her certifications, she has a master’s degree in Organizational Management and Leadership.
