Immigration is focus of Shipka speaker Oct. 25
Joseph Howard Carens, professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto whose most recent book explores the ethics of immigration, visits Youngstown State University 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, as part of the Dr. Thomas and Albert Shipka Speaker Series.

Carens, a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, is the author of four books, the editor of two books and has published more than 90 articles and book chapters. His most recent book, The Ethics of Immigration, won prizes from the American Political Science Association, the International Studies Association and the Canadian Political Science Association.
