YSU Student Security Service

The YSU Student Security Service is sponsored by the YSU Police Department. The service provides a walking escort, and a motorized cart service for individuals with mobility challenges. The service is provided free of charge to YSU staff, students and visitors.  The cart service is reserved for individuals with mobility challenges; it is not a taxi service.

We now provide a virtual walk home through the Penguin Safe app.

The service is unavailable during breaks, class cancellations, and University holidays. 

Hours may change without notice due to student worker schedules.
