YSU Student Awards Banquet April 25
Youngstown State University students, faculty and staff receive a variety of honors at the annual Student Awards Banquet 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center on campus.
The event, sponsored by YSU Student Government, Student Experience and Student Activities, concludes with the Pin Awards, recognizing up to five graduating seniors who have achieved academic success and demonstrated outstanding leadership, motivation and creativity in university and community activities. This year’s Pin Award winners: Diana Bodrogi-Podoaba, Tyler Carver, Ashley Labatte, Lexi Rager and Jenna Roesch.

DeCrane-Houser Scholarship, presented by the Newman Center in memory of Father DeCrane and Judge Houser: João Garretto.
Kocinski Award, in honor of Marilyn Kocinski, recognizing leadership, artistry and creativity in dance: Kaitlynn Kurdziel.
AVI Leadership Scholarship, for outstanding undergraduate campus leadership: Sarah Dubos, Brooke Schaefers, Luis Vindel.
Hirsch-Satrum Leadership Scholarship, for outstanding undergraduate campus leaders: Noor Khalayeh, Anthony Nakley, Taylor Phillips, Isabel Stoeber.
