Spring Career Exploration and Graduate College Fair this week, new director named
Youngstown State University has named Sara Fugett the new director of the Office of Career and Academic Advising, in time for the Spring Career Exploration and Graduate College Fair this week on campus.
Fugett received her bachelor’s degree in Business and Organizational Communication from the University of Akron and her master’s in Human Resources Management from La Roche University. Fugett has worked in higher education for over thirty years, most recently as director of Career Development at the University of Mount Union.
The Spring Career Exploration and Graduate College Fair will bring over 30 employers and YSU Graduate College representatives to the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center on the YSU campus, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, March 29.
The Fair provides exploratory opportunities for individuals looking for professional part-time positions, internships or graduate college pathways and is open to all YSU students and alumni. There is no cost to attend, but students must register at the door. Students seeking work opportunities are expected to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume.
