Second annual Science Day Tuesday, Feb. 28

STEM Professional Services in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics hosts the second annual Science Day 9: a.m. to 1p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023 in Kilcawley Center at Youngstown State University.

Approximately 90 students from local high schools are invited to participate in the event designed to expose students to the plethora of science majors and career opportunities.

Faculty from the department of Chemical & Biological Sciences and the department of Physics, Astronomy, Geology and Environmental Science will host hands-on activities from building simple motors to fingerprinting at crime scenes.

Five local companies and organizations will speak to students about the various professions in science!
