Recycling Education event at YHCIL

YHCIL Recycling Event logoThe Youngstown Historical Center of Industry & Labor hosts Recycling Education Event at the Steel Museum 1 – 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.

The free event, which is open to the public, features a keynote address by Tom Leary, associate professor of History at YSU. Leary will speak on how the steel industry has historically practiced reduce, reuse, and recycle for decades.

Industry leaders will also be on hand from Green Team, Iron City Wood Products, Metalico, Star Supply, Summit Polymers, TerraSafe Recycling, the YSU Recycling program and other groups to answer questions and provide insight into the wide array of items that can now be successfully recycled and avoid the landfill.
