This hands-on workshop examines the four different stages of creative problem-solving and each person’s preference using the FourSight Profile. Participants will leave the workshop with an enhanced perspective for tackling issues, and tools that can be readily implemented in the workplace. Recently, Bloomberg and Business Week published studies that identified creative problem solving among the top five desired skills for success in the workplace, but the second most difficult skill to find among job applicants.

The presenter is Marsha Huber, YSU professor of Accounting, who has been involved with creative problem-solving and design thinking for most of her career, as she pursues advancing accounting education and business practices through interdisciplinary applications of positive psychology, neuroscience and educational theories.
