The website sheds light on automotive issues, from buying and selling – another area fraught with anxiety for many folks – to actively maintaining them. Her mission is to demystify cars for people who don’t do their own repair work or even really want to do that work. She makes it clear that folks, especially women and the queer community, don’t have to know how to take a car apart and put it back together in order to be comfortable, if not empowered, when dealing with the automotive industry. In this keynote speech for Women’s History Month, Chaya will address how she challenges the norms of the automotive industry to pave the way for a more inclusive future, fostering equity and safety for marginalized people. Free on-site parking with priority to the disabled and the Lecturer's guests. YSU Students, Faculty and Staff are encouraged to park in YSU's adjacent lot, M82. Overflow visitor passes are available for $5. As always, street parking is available on Wood Street and is subject to the City of Youngstown's enforcement.
