Mesoamerican History Conferenc

The 46th Midwest Conference on Mesoamerican Archaeology and Ethnohistory will be hosted by Youngstown State University's Beeghly College of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Education, at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry & Labor. Known for being informal and collegial, the conference features 20-minute presentations for scholars conducting research on Mexico or northern Central America to present recent work in archaeology, art history, ethnohistory, ethnography, the history of archaeology, and related fields. The conference is an excellent opportunity for individuals to participate and engage with scholars of all backgrounds and career levels.

Cost

This conference has been generously underwritten through the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences; subsequently supported by the Anthropology Colloquium.

Parking

With a reserved pass, the Steel Museum has free on-site parking in their lot with priority to the disabled and the presenters. YSU Students, Faculty and Staff are encouraged to park in YSUs adjacent lot, M82. Overflow visitor passes are available for $5. As always, street parking is available on Wood Street and is subject to the City of Youngstown's enforcement. Follow all posted laws, signage, crosswalks, meters, and/or respect restricted/blocked/coned areas.
