The WCSA How Class Works Conference was held in Stony Brook, New York, June 7 – 9, 2012.
The Working-Class Studies Association brings together scholars, students, teachers, activists, artists, and workers who share an interest in working-class life, culture, history, and politics.

The WCSA provides a place where you can meet others who share your interests, your issues, your visions. The WCSA connects you to an international network that encourages interactions between labor historians and working-class poets, community college composition teachers and labor economists, union organizers and labor geographers, graduate students and established scholars. The WCSA sponsors critical debates about theories of class, organizing strategies, contemporary politics, history, and culture. We believe in the value of conversations across perspectives and fields, conversations that value working-class voices and international views. We invite you to join the WCSA!
