YSU has had an important impact on my life because it prepared me very well for my career and provided life long friendships. I am Y and Proud!
What activities do you enjoy in Pete’s Pride?
I really enjoy volunteering with Pete's Pride. My absolute favorite activity I enjoy with Pete's Pride is Crash Day. I have had the privilege to work with the College of Education speaking to prospective students as to why they should teach and prepare for their career at YSU. I also enjoy the letter writing campaign and welcoming guests to Stambaugh Stadium’s Football Hall of Fame during home games.
Why should prospective students choose YSU?
Prospective students should choose YSU because it provides a great education and preparation for not only their career, but for real life. It is a good investment at an affordable price. Classmates and faculty become friends and like family. Once a Penguin, always a Penguin. YSU is place where you can fit in and feel at home.
