Youngstown State University, through its website, collects non-personal information to improve functionality and content, and to monitor the site's performance. Examples include collecting information on browser type, operating system, Internet Service Provider (ISP), and geographic location (i.e., country, state, and city where user is connecting from). Data is used to provide answers to specific questions about the usage and performance of the web site or individual web pages.

Drupal

• Provide organization and design for the YSU Website.
• Meet with department staff to discuss web site organization, design, and strategy for new or redesign efforts.
• Provide support in terms of designing templates and providing for content organization layout in the campus content management system (i.e., Drupal).

Drupal Training is being offered for department web editors through Blackboard. In order to request access to your department website in Drupal for editing purposes, contact Anthony Hake, Website Development Project Coordinator.  The Blackboard course must be completed in order to begin editing your department site. This includes a section on websites and accessibility.
