Accessibility Services

In accordance with University procedures, if you have a documented disability and require accommodations to obtain equal access to this course; please contact your instructor privately to discuss your specific needs.

Students must register with the Accessibility Services Office in Kilcawley Center, Room 282, and provide a letter of accommodations to verify their eligibility. This includes courses offered at the high school.

Maag Library Access

You are permitted to come to YSU and use the library facilities. You also have access to all online materials including research journals. You can have books sent to your local library through Ohio Link.

Mathematics Achievement Center

The Mathematics Achievement Center [MAC] is an academic support service that is integrated with the Department of Mathematics & Statistics. Its mission is to assist YSU students in the strengthening of the fundamental mathematics skills, which are necessary for success in the study of mathematics, and to provide resource materials for independent study.

Resch Academic Success Center

The Resch Academic Success Center offers academic coaching and tutoring services for more than 200 courses. You can schedule an appointment either remotely or face-to-face.

YSU Writing Center

The Writing Center’s mission is to help students become more independent, confident, and successful writers. Some of the services provided are:

  • Assessment of writing strengths and weaknesses
  • Guidance for essays, lab reports, history papers, résumés, and other writing projects in all disciplines
  • Help with documentation in APA, MLA, Chicago, and other styles

You can schedule an appointment to meet with a consultant either face-to-face, over the phone, or online.
