The YSU College Credit Plus (CCP) program is a dual enrollment program serving 7th to 12th-grade students, teachers, and schools by increasing college access, supporting excellence in teaching, and strengthening high school-university connections.
In collaboration with area high schools, CCP delivers YSU courses to qualified high school students. Administered by the Office of College Access and Transition, the program offers college credit courses on campus, online, and at partner high schools.
College Credit Plus….
- Gives students firsthand experience with the high academic standards and increased workload typical of college education and helps develop the personal responsibility required to be successful in college;
- Provides teachers with university-based professional development directly related to the content, pedagogy, and assessment for the YSU courses they are teaching;
- Strengthens curricular, instructional, and professional ties between high schools and YSU.
