Benefits available to all Alumni of Youngstown State University:
- YSU Alumni can purchase a limited-hours membership to YSU's Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center (Rec Center) at a rate of $150 per year. Alumni must purchase this Rec Center membership at the Rec Center during regular business hours (Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.) so that Rec Center personnel can contact the office of Alumni Engagement (330-941-3119) to verify the alumni status of the purchaser. *Download the Alumni fact sheet
- YSU Alumni are eligible for a 50% discount on Season Ticket Subscriptions for YSU University Theater and Dance. Call the University Theatre Box Office at 330-941-3105 for more information.
- Alumni only publications and event invitations (Please be sure to provide us with your current email address!)
- Opportunities to network with YSU alumni and friends — locally, regionally and nationally.
- Opportunity to participate in YSU Alumni Connect. Alumni Connect serves recent graduates and alumni who have relocated for career reasons. To help you get acclimated, YSU will connect you to a YSU alumni liaison who resides in or near your new city of residence. To take advantage of Alumni Connect, complete our Alumni Update Form, being sure to check the Alumni Connect box.
- Alumni Legacy Scholarship: Children of YSU Alumni can apply for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship.
- Maag Library access: Alumni who live in Ohio and whose public library is part of the SearchOhio system can borrow Maag Library materials using their public library card. Moreover, these alumni may request materials, and have them sent to any of the OhioLINK libraries closest to them.
- Discounts on insurance through the Alumni Insurance Program, and through Liberty Mutual.
- Hotel discounts through several participating national chains.
- Car Rental discounts through several participating national vendors.
