International students for undergraduate study pay non-resident (outside regional area) tuition and fees at Youngstown State University. Tuition and fees are estimates and subject to change. When estimating the cost for attending YSU, please include housing and living expenses, and health insurance which is mandatory for all international students enrolled at YSU. Please note that your expenses will be significantly higher if you have accompanying dependents (spouse and/or children).

Tuition and fees may vary by major, college and area of study. The university reserves the right to assess fees for special services and programs applicable to students. In 2023 and beyond, students should plan for a 5 to 10 percent annual increase for all costs.
