ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY!
International Orientation will be held virtually August 11-13 and is mandatory for all F-1 and J-1 students. The orientation program is designed to welcome students to YSU and help make your transition to campus as smooth and successful as possible. During the orientation program, we will be presenting key information on immigration matters, health insurance, campus resources and more. If necessary, you will take your placement tests and all students will register for classes.

Immigration Check-in
All F-1 and J-1 international students will be requried to complete immigration check-in upon arrival to YSU. The following documents will be required in order to complete check-in:
- Passport
- I-20 or DS-2019
- I-94 record (printed from U.S. Customs and Border Protection after entry to the U.S.)
