After meeting the program admission requirements described in this document (see checklist below), applicants should submit an Online Request for Review (see below). Please note, having one of the required areas missing will result in a decline of review. Only students who request a review and meet the requirements will receive a link to apply to the program.
After completing the admission requirements, applicants may submit for a review beginning January 3, 2024. If it is determined that all requirements are met, the student will receive an application for the program and can apply beginning February 1, 2024.
Students who accept a slot in the nursing program (with a specific starting date for nursing courses) and do not attend orientation, decline a slot after orientation, do not attend the first day of class, do not meet all medical record, health insurance, CPR, and/or background check requirements will be required to re-start the application process. Students must meet all current admission requirements at the time of application.
Please use this checklist to determine when you are ready to submit a Request for Review.
Do not request a review until all requirements have been met.
The last day to submit a Request for Review is Monday, March 11, 2024.
Checklist:
I have reviewed the checklist and confirm that I meet all the criteria.
I understand requesting a review does not guarantee my acceptance into the program.
Upon a successful review, students will be sent, via YSU Student email, information to proceed with the ADN application. Please note, this process may take 4-6 weeks.
