Cliffe College Performing Arts Series continues with Alla Boara

Alla BoaraYoungstown State University’s Cliffe College of Creative Arts announces Alla Boara, a vibrant six-piece Italian folk group, as the next performer for the Cliffe College Performing Arts Series 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown.

The public is invited to enjoy the rich traditions of Italy as Alla Boara brings new life to the country’s diverse history of regional folk music. Founded by Dana School of Music alumnus Anthony Taddeo, the group will perform modern music arrangements that are variously surprising, playful, mournful, tender and bewitching.

This special event will also feature an Italian dinner catered by Chef Ottavio Musumeci of Station Square Ristorante, with a menu curated to celebrate the authentic flavors of Italy.

Whether you’re a lover of Italian culture, a foodie, or simply looking for a delightful night out, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience that moves audiences of all ethnic heritages in the spirit of Italy.
