1. Log into the Penguin Portal. Select the "Student Dashboard" Card.
2. Under the "Frequently Used Tools" heading, sleect "Parking Pass Application".
3. To request a Parking Pass, select "Get Permits".
NOTE: If you have received a parking citation from YSU Parking Services, you may view it by entering the citiation number or selecting "View Your Citations".
4. Select "Next".
5. Select either a Commuter Permit or Overnight Permit, then select "I Agree".
6. Select the vehicle you will use with your permit. If you have not yet added a vehicle or need to add another, select "Add Vehicle".
7. Select or add a current address for mailing.
8. Permits will be added to your Cart. Enter an E-mail address to receive a receipt/summary of your transaction.
9. Select "Confirm". Charges for Parking Passes are billed to your Student Account. For instructions on how to make a payment, view the Online Instructions for "Pay Bill".
10. A receipt indicates that an order has been placed and will be sent to your YSU e-mail. Select "Print Temporary Permit" to obtain a valid temporary permit.
