Explore the Valley Virtual Career Fair set for June 16
Individuals looking for the latest career opportunities in the Mahoning Valley’s emerging high-tech industries are invited to register for the free Explore the Valley Virtual Career Fair 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 16.
“The Youngstown/Mahoning Valley region is making a major comeback with new industries centered around electric vehicles, energy storage and other industry 4.0 jobs like robotics, automation, information technology, advanced manufacturing and more,” said Jennifer Oddo, executive director of Workforce Education and Innovation at Youngstown State University.
“Thousands of new-collar jobs are being created and YSU is leading the charge to bring the community together and attract talent to the area through this virtual career fair.”
The free online event is a partnership of YSU's Division of Workforce Education and Innovation, Jobs Ohio and the General Motors Community Investment.
Register at www.ysu.edu/explorethevalley. Registration is open for employers and career explorers now and on the day of the event, including when the event goes live.

Foster, Steward Healthcare, Respiratory Care Partners, Cintas, Southwoods Health, Valor, Schwebel’s Aptiv, Windsor House, Vallourec Star, Community Corrections Association, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, Park Vista, Gillette Skilled Nursing Rehab, Youngstown Tool and Die, Briarfield Manor, and ONE Health Ohio
