Business students compete at Ohio HR Games
Lois C. Martin-Uscianowski, Jackie Bionci, Amanda Paynter and Hien K. Do, students in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University, finished first in sportsmanship and collegiality at the Ohio HR Games at Ashland University.
The games were a Jeopardy-style competition where teams had the opportunity to test their Human Resource knowledge against students from other universities in Ohio. The YSU team placed third overall.
The four students are members of the YSU student chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management. The YSU Society holds biweekly meetings in Williamson Hall and hosts Shadow Day every fall semester. The YSU chapter is affiliated with the Western Reserve Chapter, comprised of more than 300 HR professionals in the area.
