30 new faculty from around the globe join YSU for 2018-19 academic year

Youngstown State University welcomes 30 new faculty members to campus as the 2018-19 academic year begins this week.

The faculty come from throughout the nation and the world, from Iran to Oregon, India to Tennessee, South Korea to Texas, and from several different  academic disciplines, from Mathematics to English, Nursing to Accounting, and Communication to Education.

The new faculty underwent two days of orientation in Williamson and Tod halls Aug. 15 and 16. Fall semester classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 22. Here are the new faculty members:
