YSU students participate in WCBA Dare to Care Day
More than 60 YSU students will volunteer to work with 10 area nonprofit organizations Friday, April 21, completing the WCBA Dare to Care Day organized by the Williamson College of Business Administration at YSU.
Registration and breakfast for volunteers will run 8 – 8:30 a.m. Kelly Wilkinson, dean of the Williamson College of Business Administration, will welcome everyone at 8:30 a.m. Pprojects will begin at 9 a.m. at one of the ten participating organizations: Beatitude House Ministries, Habitat for Humanity - ReStore, Habitat for Humanity - The HUB, OCCHA, Oh Wow!, Potential Development Elementary/Middle School, Rich Center for Autism, SMARTS, United Returning Citizens and YMCA-Central Branch.
Students will be complete projects including the set up and clean up of sites, outdoor clean-up (weather permitting), organizing offices and assembling exhibits, organizing food pantries and working with students.
