YSU Phi Kappa Phi recognizes new initiates

The Youngstown State University chapter of Phi Kappa Phi inducted more than 80 students, faculty, staff, alumni and community initiates during a ceremony earlier this spring.

Students are selected based solely on grade point average. The top 7.5 percent of juniors and 10 percent of seniors and graduate students are invited to join.

Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest, largest and most selective honor society for all disciplines. The YSU chapter recently achieved Circle of Excellence Platinum status for 2018-19, the highest award in the society’s Circle of Honor Awards Program.
