The YSU Residence Halls Close Friday, May 3rd!
All residents should plan to move out 24 hours after their last final, or by 9pm on Friday, May 3rd - whichever comes first. By mid-April, residents will receive official information about move-out.
- All residents will be able to choose from 2 check-out options:
- Traditional check-out with an RA at a pre-scheduled time
- Express self-check-out option (drop off keys at front desk and sign express checkout agreement)
- Traditional check-outs with RAs will be scheduled between 8am-5pm during finals week, with an opportunity to check-out with an RA on-call between 5pm-midnight if necessary. During the hours of Midnight-8:00am, residents will have access to the Express check-out option only
- All residents will receive instruction on how to leave their room spaces and information on check-out related expectations. It’s important to follow instructions to avoid check-out related fees!
