Three Minute Thesis (3MT)

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research competition developed by The University of Queensland. The competition develops academic, presentation, and research communication skills and supports the development of research students' capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes in a language appropriate to an intelligent but non-specialist audience. Our venue for this year's competition is the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor (YHCIL), otherwise known as the Steel Museum. - *The Preliminary Round is Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm* - *The Finals are Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm*

This event is made free to the public by The College of Graduate Studies at Youngstown State University

Parking

The Steel Museum has free on-site parking in their lot with priority to the disabled and the Competitor's guests. YSU Students, Faculty and Staff are encouraged to park in YSU's adjacent lot, M82. Visitor passes are available in the Museum's lobby. Additionally, the City of Youngstown has also extended their free street parking on Wood Street.
