Environmental Science Major

Study a field that brings together the sciences, social studies and economics through our Environmental Science major and prepare for a green career when you graduate.

What You'll Study

Find opportunities for hands-on experience and expand your communication and research skills to effectively use key concepts and models of environmental science. Taking part in field- and laboratory-based learning and demonstrating your understanding of pollution sources and prevention strategies are just a few of the ways you'll get out of the classroom and into the environment with this major.

Courses are taught by professors who value your education. Studies on environmental chemistry, environmental sampling and the required internship allow you to get the first-hand experience you need to succeed in the environmental specialist profession or a graduate program.
